Our holiday flat Murmeltier offers you the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the midst of unspoilt nature and breathtaking mountain landscapes. The quiet location and the marvellous view of the surrounding nature and mountains invite you to dream and linger.
Enjoy a light-flooded and newly designed 49 m² holiday flat with a separate bedroom. The modern furnishings and the large south-west-facing terrace make your stay a real feel-good experience. Leave everyday life behind you and immerse yourself in the unspoilt nature and diverse flora that Sachrang has to offer. There are numerous options for active holidaymakers: Relax by the wild natural lake with panoramic views of the Kaisergebiere in Tyrol or refresh yourself in the clear waters of the mountain stream after a mountain hike. All under the motto ‘Natural, close to nature and active’.
In addition, amenities such as a free car park directly at the house and free Wi-Fi are available to you. Please note, however, that dogs and other pets are not permitted.

Environment description

The mountaineering village of Sachrang is nestled in picturesque countryside in close proximity to numerous, renowned mountains and Lake Chiemsee on the Bavarian side, as well as the majestic Kaiser Mountains and the Kitzbühel Alps on the Tyrolean side. Enjoy boundless nature and benefit from the excellent location for countless activities: Summer: hiking, mountain biking, cycling, climbing, swimming, sailing, golfing, family holidays, rafting, castles, boat trips on Lake Chiemsee, festival in Erl, Alpine animal park. Winter: Cross-country skiing, skiing (small children's ski area incl. ski school directly in Sachrang, the ski areas in Durchholzen, Hochkössen and Winklmoosalm can be reached in no time by car), ski tours, tobogganing. There are no limits to the activities! Very attractive tours, e.g. to the Wildbichl Alm or to the Karspitze, start right outside the front door across the green border to Tyrol. Dogs and pets are unfortunately not allowed in our holiday flat.

tourism tax / plus tourism tax
The prices are exclusive of tourism tax of 2,00 € per person/night. For persons from the 7th to the completion of the 16th year of life 1,80 €. Children up to the age of 6 years are exempt from local tax. You pay the local tax at your host.

Arrival Description

By car: Motorway A8 Munich/Salzburg - exit Aschau / Frasdorf or Bernau, turn left towards Aschau/Kampenwandbahn.
Coming from Frasdorf: pass the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., straight ahead on Rosenheimer Straße, past the petrol station. At the roundabout take the 1st exit in the direction of the Kampenwand cable car. Follow the road for approx. 12 km through the village to Sachrang. Leave the village of Sachrang on your right and drive past the Müllner-Alm and, in winter, the ski lift. Shortly afterwards, turn left into Karspitzweg. Drive along Karspitzweg until you reach house number 22.
Coming from Bernau: pass the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., straight ahead on Bernauer Straße, approx. 50 m after crossing the railway track at the roundabout take the 2nd exit in the direction of the Kampenwand cable car. Follow the road for approx. 12 km through the village - see above.
By train: Munich-Salzburg train connection - from Prien station to Aschau with the Chiemgaubahn. From Aschau railway station to Sachrang by bus or taxi.
