The Alpenchalet is located at the foot of the Spitzstein at 900 m above sea level. With us you will find a retreat to feel good and relax, and that in the midst of nature. Experience a holiday with the upscale comfort of a hotel and the quaintness of a mountain hut. The Alpenchalet is a newly renovated holiday home, approx. 50 sqm living space and two terraces. It has a separate bedroom with double bed, fully equipped kitchen-cum-living room, shower and WC, as well as free Wi-Fi.

For nature lovers, the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for exploration. Hiking trails start practically on your doorstep, whether heading into the mountains or down into the valley to a waterfall. In winter, you’ll find ski lifts, a toboggan run and a 15 km groomed cross-country trail just 2 km away. Ski enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to renowned ski resorts: Walchsee with the Zahmer Kaiser (just 10 km away) and the Wilder Kaiser in Scheffau (35 km away) are easily accessible. In addition, well-known lakes such as Lake Chiemsee are within a 25 km radius and easily accessible. Our Alpine chalet not only offers a location surrounded by nature, but also a wide range of leisure activities to make your stay in the picturesque surroundings of the mountaineering village of Sachrang – close to Tyrol and Kufstein – an unforgettable experience; both Munich and Salzburg are just 80 km away.

tourism tax / plus tourism tax
The prices quoted are exclusive of tourism tax, which is €2.00 per person/night. For children and young people aged 6 to 15, the visitor's tax is €1.80 per person/night. Children up to the age of 5 are exempt from local tax. You pay the local tax for the municipality of Aschau i. Ch. directly to your host. 

Arrival Description

Coming from Munich on the A8 towards Salzburg, take the Frasdorf exit. In Aschau, take the first exit at the roundabout towards Sachrang. In the centre of Sachrang, turn right before the Tourist Information office and then immediately left. Drive straight ahead out of the village and follow the road up the hill through several bends. Once you have left the forest, you will arrive in the hamlet of Reichenau and find the Alpenchalet on your right.
