Description

Welcome to Wastelbauerhof!Our fully managed farm is located very quiet, idyllic and in an unspoiled nature, about three kilometers from Lake Chiemsee. You can easily reach the Chiemsee on a beautiful foot and bike path. Directly from the farm you can go on challenging or family-friendly hiking and moutenbike tours as the mood takes you. Children will feel completely at home at the Wastelbauerhof. A large playground with climbing tower slide, swing, seesaw, large trampoline, sandbox and merry-go-round, invites you to romp around and have fun. Even a whole pedal tractor fleet and various kettkarts are ready for the children and waiting for a race. Many different animals such as cows, ponies, cats, rabbits, ducks, etc. are there to love and pet. We are also happy to take the children to drive a tractor, milk or feed the animals and with luck there is even the possibility to experience a calf birth up close.

Environment description

The central location of our farm is considered by our guests as an insider tip to the large skiing and tobogganing areas of the region. In only a few minutes by car you can reach the big skiing areas like Ski amadé, Kitzbühel, Kössen, St. Johann, Hohe Salve, Reit im Winkl to name just a few.Also the well cleared winter hiking trails and the "Spiegeleis" on the Chiemsee let walkers-, ice skaters- and stick shooters-hearts beat faster.Have we made you curious? About the host

A special feature of the Wastelbauerhof, is its own cafe with lake view. Take some time out and enjoy our homemade cakes and pies, baked by the pastry chef Viktoria. The use of regional products is very close to our hearts. We especially recommend our Zwetschgen-Datschi with plums from our own orchard or our ice cream sundae variations with Rinser natural ice cream from the Chiemgau region. With our guest card you are allowed to use the Chiemseering bus line as well as the bus connection RVO 9502 free of charge during the operating hours. Info spa tax: The spa tax is not included in the total price. Daily amount per person is 1,50 Euro. Started days are considered as full days. The days of arrival and departure are calculated as one day of stay. Children and young people up to the age of 16 as well as holders of a severely handicapped pass with a degree of disability of 90% or more and their necessary accompanying persons are exempt from spa fees. The spa fee includes the applicable statutory value-added tax.

Arrival Description

Coming from the A8 in the direction of Salzburg, take exit 106 and get into the left lane in the direction of Ortsmitte-Grassau-Reit im Winkl. From the end of the village, take the fourth exit on the right (approx. 1.2 kilometers) in the direction of Aufing/Rudersberg.
