At the foot of the Wendelstein our house is located on the hills of St. Margarethen. In a quiet location, the guest and vacationer have various possibilities to make their stay in our mountain inn interesting and varied. Surrounded by the Inntal mountains you have a fantastic view over the Inntal and the climatic health resort Brannenburg. Take the rack railroad to the Wendelstein and enjoy the view from the Tauern to the Zugspitze, visit the Chiemsee with its King Ludwig Castle on the Herreninsel, various mines, make excursions into the surrounding area whether on foot or by bike/car with us there is something for everyone. In the immediate vicinity is a riding stable for children. Get to know our wonderful mountain world - guided hikes are also possible. We are happy to take care of your physical well-being, enjoy a sunny breakfast on our wind-protected terrace, or if it is not so warm in our veranda with a unique view of our Upper Bavarian landscape. In summer we serve fresh trout from the grill once a week on Friday. The rest of the time you can choose from our varied menu. In between we spoil you with different, depending on the season, specialties: Game, fish, asparagus. Family celebrations, weddings, christenings, communions or anniversaries of any kind can be organized according to your suggestions. Ideal starting point for day trips. On New Year's Eve you can watch the fireworks from above, or set off rockets yourself and enjoy a New Year's Eve menu.Environment description

Wir, die Wirtshaus Marianne und Klaus, führen unser Haus in 2. Generation; unser Sohn Michael steht in den Startlöchern unseren Betrieb in 3. Generation weiter zu führen. Daher haben wir im Jahr 2017 begonnen unseren Betrieb für die Zukunft aus- und um zu bauen. About the host

The mentioned prices are plus visitor's tax of EUR 1,50 per person/night for adults. Children who have not yet reached the age of 16, as well as severely disabled persons from 80 GdB: EUR 0.00. Spa fee for severely disabled persons from 50 GdB to under 80 GdB: EUR 0.75. For Tuesday & Thursday arrivals, you will receive instructions on how to arrive when you confirm your booking you will also be asked to transfer the booking fee in advance. The deposit for your booking is 20% of the total price, and is due immediately. For bookings for 1 night, the total booking price must be paid immediately in advance.
Arrival Description
Take the A 8 in the direction of Salzburg and at the Inntal triangle take the A 93 in the direction of Innsbruck. You take the second exit after the Inntal triangle Brannenburg. At the exit turn left into the village of Brannenburg. Cross the traffic lights straight and after 1 km turn right into Dientzenhoferstr. After another kilometer uphill you will reach the church in St. Margarethen. Your destination is right next to the church.
