Description

Let yourself be enchanted by the fantastic location of our house on the outskirts of Gstadt directly on Lake Chiemsee. In the midst of this little paradise you will stay with us in modern double rooms and can get away from it all. Each room also has a balcony with lake view and in front of our house you will find the only true and timelessly beautiful "postcard idyll". No other motif at the Chiemsee is pictured as often as this picturesque view of the lake, the Fraueninsel and the mountains in the background.

Environment description

The village of Gstadt on Lake Chiemsee lies in an almost uniquely picturesque setting and has always inspired famous artists. The lake, the opposite Fraueninsel and the Chiemgau mountains in the background form a unique 'postcard scenery'. From Gstadt you can easily reach the famous Chiemsee islands of Frauenchiemsee and Herrenchiemsee by scheduled boat, which runs on Lake Chiemsee all year round. Munich or Salzburg can be reached by car in about 1 hour.

About the host

The ChiemseeStern an "Adults Only" hotel is located only 150 meters from the ferry dock. From here you can take a ferry to the islands Frauenchiemsee and Herrenchiemsee. Numerous hiking or biking trails, such as the Chiemseerundweg, start right outside the front door. Relax in the Chiemseestern on the beautiful south-facing terrace with lawn for breakfast or on the sun lounger in the afternoon. You can park your bicycles in the underground garage of the Chiemseestern accommodation.

Cancellation conditions: Up to 14 days before arrival free of charge. Later cancellations will be charged with 80% of the total price. Non-arrival or arrival with children under 12 years will be charged with the total amount. Cancellations can only be made in writing. Parking & Bicycles: Free parking is available at the house or in the underground garage. Bicycles that you bring with you can be safely parked with us. A fixed underground parking space costs €5 per night. Payment methods: Cash, EC card (no credit card) The invoice amount is to be paid upon arrival. A deposit is not required. The tourist tax will be charged separately. Arrival / Departure: Check-In: from 14:00 o'clock. Check Out: until 11:00 o'clock. If you arrive after 20:00, please inform us. IMPORTANT NOTES: Our house is only partially suitable for people with reduced mobility. The elevator only goes to the 2nd floor (out of a total of 3 floors). If you have problems with climbing stairs, please inform us immediately. Pets are not allowed in our house. Our house is not suitable for groups. Fixed room requests cannot be guaranteed (e.g. 2 booked rooms next to each other, or only 1st floor, etc.) We reserve the right to assign you another room of a higher category. The tenant is responsible for any damage. Smoking is allowed only in the open air. Our adult hotel welcomes all guests over 12 years old. Directions: By car, you can reach us via the A8 Munich-Salzburg freeway, exit Bernau/Prien. Continue to Prien, Rimsting, Breitbrunn and Gstadt.
