What’s with the wooden shingles? What’s the story behind the village church? Why is it that particularly modern (timber) architecture and innovative craftsmanship are so important to the Bregenzerwald?
The way people in the Bregenzerwald treat their surroundings is the subject of 12 ‘Umgang Bregenzerwald’ circular walks through villages in the region. Selected buildings along these trails allow visitors to experience how people have shaped their lives here and how they are still doing so to this day.
The informative tour set is the ideal companion to these tours.
The ‘Umgang’ tour set includes:
• Book with stories about architecture and craftsmanship in the Bregenzerwald
• Folder set with 12 folders (one information folder for each village trail)
More information about the ‘Umgang’ project is available here.
