Culinary Hike – Bezau - Niedere

With the best view to the alpine pasture settlements

With the best view to the alpine pasture settlements. The mountain breakfast on Baumgarten will be followed by a hike along the panoramic mountain ridge to the beautifully situated alpine pasture settlement of Schönenbach. After lunch at the rustic Jagdgasthaus inn, the day will be concluded with dessert in Bezau.

Tour: Bezau - Panoramarestaurant Baumgarten - Schreiberesattel - Hintereggsattel - Jagdgasthof Egender Schönenbach - Restaurant Wisawi Bezau (walking time approx. 4 ½ h)

Hiking distance: 12.6 km | Ascent: 390 metres in altitude | Descent: 929 metres in altitude | Walking time: around 4½ hours | Total duration: around 8 hours

Equipment: Non-slip mountain-hiking boots, hiking sticks, water bottle, sun screen and protection from the rain

Please remember that the actual walking time is around four hours and that therefore you’ll require a good basic physical fitness. Please do not leave the marked trails for your own safety and to protect the sensitive natural area.
