No other district in Baden has changed as dramatically over the past 125 years as «Baden North». Here, historic industrial halls stand side by side with modern structures—a fascinating journey of discovery for architecture enthusiasts and those who aspire to become one.
The tour begins at Brown-Boveri Square in front of the Regionalwerke building, a modernist example, and continues past the «Power Tower» to the new building of the BBB Vocational School and the renovated Martinsberg Community Center, a post-war modernist masterpiece. Along Martinsbergstrasse, the tour leads to the Merker site, a former factory that has transformed into a creative hub.
A city tour that vividly showcases the transformation of Baden North and its architectural highlights.
