Witches, murderers, harlots and arsonists
Description
In the Middle Ages, a human life was often not worth much and the right to "freedom, equality and fraternity" was by no means enshrined in law. Witches, murderers, prostitutes and arsonists were sentenced and executed - sometimes using cruel methods. The old prison cells in the town tower, Baden's landmark, and other gruesome places are visited. The unbelievable, even terrifying texts of the "Baden Death Books" are read aloud. A tour for anyone with strong nerves!
