Description

The house, which features a new, approximately 55-square-meter apartment consisting of two rooms, is located right on Anger’s beautiful village square. (Rumor has it that King Ludwig once described Anger as the most beautiful village in Bavaria—or indeed in his entire kingdom—precisely because of this square...) By the way, the building also houses a “cool” ice cream parlor, “Luggi” (which cyclists on the Lake Constance–Königssee route like to stop at for a “refreshment”), across from the “Goberg” inn with its excellent cuisine. Also across the street are, among other things, a home goods store, a hair and beauty salon, a butcher shop, a pizzeria, a flower shop, a Demeter bakery nearby, and—dominating the skyline—the church “Mariä Himmelfahrt,” visible from afar, with its adjacent cemetery. (Which has even served as a film set on occasion)

Environment description

In der Nähe und in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar liegt Salzburg (Casino, Altstadt, Festspiele), Bad Reichenhall (Alte Saline, Rupertus Therme, Kurpark, Predigtstuhlbahn), Berchtesgaden (Salzbergwerk, Kehlsteinhaus, Jennerbahn), Königssee (Schiffahrt, St. Bartholomä, Obersee), Chiemsee (Schiffahrt Herrenchiemsee Königsschloss, Fraueninsel), Waginger See (wärmster See Oberbayerns), Thumsee uvm. München erreicht man mit schnellem Auto (und ohne Stau) in einer knappen Stunde. Quasi direkt vor der Haustüre führt der Bodensee-Königssee Radweg vorbei und es ruht der idyllische Höglwörther See mit seinem malerischen Kloster in nur 2-3 km Entfernung. Die Fürmannalm und die Stoißer Alm mit seinen sensationellen Ausblicken laden zum 'erklimmen oder erradeln' ein. Die weiteren, unerwähnten aber nicht minder sehenswerten Sehenswürdigkeiten wie z. B. Das Hans Peter Porsche ‚Traumwerk‘, die Berge Watzmann, Hochstaufen, Predigtstuhl, Untersberg nebst der ungezählten Wander- und Radwege im Umfeld, empfehlen sich zu ‚ergoogeln‘.

Arrival Description

As avid Google users will already know, Anger is located right off the A8 Munich-Salzburg highway (with its own on- and off-ramps! at km 116.5), about 12 km before Salzburg. Be careful when exiting, as this is a so-called temporary exit.
