"Location of the hotel is excellent - it is next to a U-bahn stop, connection to the city center or to the station, airport... is fantastic. Room was a bit "minimalistic" (I was missing some place to put my stuff - like clothes) but clean and good for a short stay. Staff at reception was very kind. Breakfast was OK. If you are looking for a good hotel in that area for a short trip (one or two nights) - ibis budget is good choice."

"The bed is small and on top you have one kid bed! It might good for families but if I'm booking as single why I get such a room? TV very small, no extras in room. "I did not have much expectations, so stay overall was ok. Room was clean and I slept well. Breakfast was also ok, even though I'm not sure it was worth the price. Problems encountered: First room I got, the door did not open, so I had to go back to the reception and got another room. Second room, the shower light was broken. I bit more maintenance, or at least checks done by the room service would make sense."

"The air conditioning was very weak and the room was very hot. Twice my access to the room was blocked due to a failure of the staff or their system. I appreciate that they gave me another room when I complained about the air conditioning, but unfortunately it didn't improve. In the middle of the week the days were cooler and it was possible to cool down a bit with the window open, but on days with temperatures above 25 degrees it wasn't pleasant."

"I've been a regular guest with IBIS and IBIS BUDGET for years and years. Very convenient hotels along the highway throughout Germany and France. Always very easy access by car, clean rooms, valuable breakfast and good priced for the purpose of stay. On that note, I again booked IBIS for myself and my two kids (age 8 + 10) a 2 night stay in July 2024 in Stuttgart. NOTE: Only 2 towels and 2 glasses in the room for a 3 people booking. I went to reception politely asking for 1 additional towel as I assumed the hotel staff forgot we were 3 people. Reception staff looked up the room in the system : " No, no extra towel as all was, as it was suppose to be. you are 2 kids + 1 adult in the room, and that is only 2 towels." so, for the remaing 2 nights, we had to share towels, not being able to shower the same day, as the towels where wet. when I received the staff reply about the additional towel, I figured out there was no point in asking for an extra glass - it was mission impossible. disappointing, really disappointing ! - and then you start adding the other small things which was a bit off aswell , but would have been minor things. don't forget, Hotels today, only have 1, or max 2 chances to make it a repeat guest.... in this case, there where 4 other hotels as neighboors ! Just saying."

"I was in this hotel before and now it is better. Breakfast is delicious with a lot of choices, air conditioning is great, my towels were changed on daily level, my room was always clean (6 days stay) and they allowed me to check in a bit earlier to leave my baggage, and also on a day of my depart, I left my baggage, everything was safe and nice. Also there is a terrace for smokers, or for people who like to sit eat and dring outside, open from 6AM to 22PM."

"Situated right at a U-bahn station, which is great. But housekeeping service was sub-par. I reported that the heater was not working on the morning of Day 2. It was not fixed by the end of Day 2. Receptionist said she will remind housekeeping again On the 3rd day evening, the heater remained unfixed. Furthermore the room was not cleaned that day. I did not kick up a fuss as i was planning to check out soon."

"I found my stay to be very cost-effective and appreciated the value for money. However, I'd like to suggest a few areas for improvement that would enhance the guest experience: Consistency with Amenities: It was my understanding that a complimentary water bottle would be provided daily, but I only received one during my entire stay. Ensuring that guests consistently receive the amenities advertised would greatly improve satisfaction. Privacy Indicators: The addition of 'Do Not Disturb' signs for door handles would be beneficial. This would allow guests to easily communicate their privacy needs without verbal requests. Laundry Facilities: While the current setup does not include a laundry space, I believe that offering a common laundry area, even as a paid service, would be a significant convenience for guests. Having the option to launder clothes on-site would be a welcome addition. I truly enjoyed my stay and believe that these enhancements could make future visits even more comfortable and convenient. "I'm a US citizen who was visiting Germany and these are my observations: With it being a budget hotel, I expected fewer amenities; however, basic things like hand towels, wash cloths, and tissues were not in the room which was surprising. I've paid comparable rates (and sometimes less) for other budget hotels and those items were in the room. Hair dryers must be requested from the front desk. The bed was relatively comfortable, though the blankets could have been a bit heavier considering I stayed in the winter months and the temps were in the 30-40 degree range. More pillows would have been nice too. The room was a bunk bed above and a full size bed below it. There was only one pillow for each bed. The included breakfast was typical German fare, which I expected since I was in Germany. I would have liked a little more variety though. When you're staying for several days, the same menu gets boring. For those wondering what is included in the breakfast: Pretzels, bread/toast, bread rolls, raisin pastries, sliced deli meats and cheeses, yogurt, Corn Flakes, oatmeal, orange or apple juice, coffee, sliced cold vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and few others I don't remember. I had the salami and while it tasted ok, it left a film in the roof of my mouth that made it feel like I'd eaten a spoonful of lard and it was slathered onto the roof of my mouth. I gave it two tries and opted not to eat the salami again. I will say the bread rolls were amazing - a nice crispy exterior crust and deliciously moist on the inside. The room setup was a bit different than I am used to. The water closet/bathroom only housed the toilet. The bathroom sink (very small and limited counter space) and the shower were IN the room. When you step out of the shower, you are in the room and not behind a bathroom door. There is no closet in the room and extremely limited space to hang clothes. If you're staying more than a few days, this hotel may not be a good option unless you're ok with living out of a suitcase for an extended period of time. Location is in close proximity to the U train station which is nice. If you're looking for a hotel with things to do nearby, this may not be a good choice. There's a theatre across the street, a gas station/convenience store, and a grocery store nearby... that's about it."

Well, this won't keep me from coming another time though, as the Hotel is pretty close to the some Bosch company locations. However, maybe most importantly, I didn't like the close-to-fake-news television program "WELT TV". During my breakfast they showed sexist content, racist content and people that stand for autocratic, thus anti-democratic values. I think these kind of values do not represent the opinion of the Hotel. However, showing this kind of television station is problematic."
