Itha’s secret escape is the right place if you want to spend a few romantic days in a truly unique setting in the midst of nature. Our B&B is situated in the densely wooded „Waldviertel“ area in the state of Lower Austria, close to the Czech border. 

On our old hunting estate, you find deep forests, hilly meadows, and small ponds and rivers. We have horses, ponies, dog, cats, bees, and a lot of animals coming very close to our house. 
Depending on season in which you visit, you will find an abundance of wild berries, mushrooms, and all kind of wild animals that inhabit the local forrest. Out here, human influence on nature is still limited, and the fauna and flora is  mostly intact and very diverse.

In summer we offer the use of a big outdoor Swimmingpool and access to our own riding place. There is a small pond in front of the house with an intact biotope where you can retreat and relax. During the winter season, you can be sure to have a lot of snow for cross-country ski or other Wintersports. In the nearby village, which is located less than 10 minutes away by car, you can borrow any kind of sports equipments to explore the surroundings, such as bicycles, skis, etc. The village also provides several tennis courts for rent.

Itha’s secret escape is a luxury and cozy 60 m2 apartment with an entrance with garderobe, living room with an office place and dining table, fully equipped kitchen (with refrigerator, cooker and tube, dishwasher, microwave and of corse toaster, nespresso coffee engine, water cooker, mixer and others). The bathroom is equipped with a big bathtub, separate shower, double sinks and hairdryer.

The bedroom features a luxury and comfortable king size bed with very nice pillows and blankets, as well as a large satellite TV. A separate door in the bedroom leads to a large walk in closet. WiFi access is provided free of charge.

The apartment furthermore features two balconies that feature either morning and evening sun, with nice seating arrangements and tables.
On the terrace in front of the apartment, you have access to big garden sun chairs and dining tables. On the estate, there is a grill and fireplace waiting for romantic evening for you. 

Upon request, we serve a luxury breakfast for a small fee that includes home made jam, honey, smoothies, and more. 

In the surrounding villages, all within a short drive, you find a lot of different restaurants, shops and others.

When staying with us, you have access to our small private Spa with sauna, IR cabin, steam bath, shower, small changing room with hairdryer, toilet, massage table and tea kitchen with refrigerator. We can organize massage appointments for you (separate fees apply). Use of our soft towels is included.
