Description
Welcome to the Bachzelt family's feel-good farm!
Our family consists of Günter, Martina and Jonas. We live in the small village of Prutzendorf in the market town of Weitersfeld (district of Horn, Lower Austria) and run an agricultural and forestry business with a focus on arable farming and special crops (milk thistles, oil flax, etc.) - without keeping livestock. Our housemates include 3 cats and 2 guinea pigs.
A few kilometers away is the Manhartsberg, which forms the border to the Weinviertel. For this reason, our landscape is characterized by fields on the one hand and vineyards on the other.
The distances to Horn, Eggenburg, Retz or the national park are about 20 km each. The nearest inn, banks, outdoor swimming pool and shopping facilities are in Weitersfeld (2 km).
Numerous Excursion destinations in various forms are waiting for you!
e.g. Thayatal National Park, Hardegg, the mother-of-pearl turnery in Felling, the old town of Znojmo (Czech Republic), the Vranov reservoir and castle (Czech Republic), the Retz windmillRetz windmill, Retz adventure cellar, "Reblaus Express" nostalgia train, Hessendorf fishing paradise, Langau mining lake, Geras Abbey, Geras forest swimming pool, Rosenburg castle with bird of prey show, Rosenburg climbing park, old walled towns of Drosendorf and Eggenburg, Eggenburg Krahuletz Museum, etc.
We can offer you the following room options:
