The centre of Hörstel is about 5 km away. The Surenburg and the large riding area of Riesenbeck are about 5 km away. There are many beautiful excursions to be made by bicycle. In Ibbenbüren, the Dörenthe Nature Adventure Park awaits you with its large diving park. The summer toboggan run and the fairytale forest of Ibbenbüren are only a few metres away. The old town of Tecklenburg and the Bentlage Monastery near Rheine are other wonderful destinations for a bicycle tour. Hikers will find numerous hiking trails in the hills of the Tecklenburg region, which always offer magnificent views of the Münsterland region.
