Description

Welcome to our guesthouse Monika. We are the Lüthy family and have been renting out the beautiful flats and holiday flats in the heart of Todtmoos for over 40 years now. I, Monika, was born in Todtmoos. In 1984 I took over the house from my parents, which was rented out as a bed and breakfast until the end of 1994. From the beginning of 1995 we converted the single and double rooms into four beautiful flats in addition to the existing holiday flat. Our guest house is in a wonderful location above the new spa gardens, right on the edge of the forest. Quietly situated and yet central. From the house you walk to the center of the village as well as to the Reha-Zentrum Todtmoos, Klinik Wehrwald of the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund about 5 minutes. Our vacation apartment and apartments were again awarded 4 stars and 3 stars by the German Tourism Association in 2024. Sufficient parking spaces and a lockable bicycle box are available at the house.

Check-in and check-out regulation

Arrival is possible from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On the day of departure, the accommodation is available until 10:00 a.m. (earliest check-out 7:00 a.m.). Please always contact the landlord in good time before your arrival to confirm the key handover.

Directions

Arrival / directions to reach our house quickly and comfortably.
When you reach Todtmoos, always head towards the Rehab Center Todtmoos Klinik Wehrawald. Our house is after the turnoff Todtmoos - Schwarzenbach about 150 m on the left side.
Arrival by car from the north:
Via the motorway Karlsruhe - Basel (A 5) - Motorway exit Freiburg Mitte - Kirchzarten - Todtnau to Todtmoos. From the motorway exit to Todtmoos is about 55 km.
Arrival by car from the east:
Via the motorway Stuttgart - Singen (A 81) - Motorway exit Donaueschingen / Freiburg - Titisee / Neustadt - Bärental - Schluchsee (B 500) - Bernau to Todtmoos. From the motorway exit to Todtmoos is about 80 km.
Arrival by car from the southwest (Switzerland or France):
Via Basel - Lörrach - Schopfheim - Wehr to Todtmoos.
Arrival by car from the southeast (Switzerland):
About Zurich - Waldshut - Häusern - St. Blasien to Todtmoos.
Arriving by train via Freiburg:
Take the train to Freiburg main station in Breisgau. From here you have different options:
1. You use the bus, which will take you to Todtmoos in about 2 hours. On this occasion, you will also receive a small Black Forest tour through the many small villages and through our beautiful landscape. Patients of the rehab clinic Wehrawald are driven directly to the clinic on Tuesdays.
2. You continue by train to Seebrugg. From there you take the bus via St. Blasien to Todtmoos - bus station.
3. Take a taxi and drive to Todtmoos in about 1 hour. The price is about 70 €.
Arriving by train via Bad Säckingen:
Take the train to Bad Säckingen. From here you can reach Todtmoos as follows.
1. You use the bus, about 1 hour to Todtmoos. Arrival at the bus station - Todtmoos.
2. You take a taxi and drive in about half an hour to Todtmoos. The price is about 60 €.
Getting to Todtmoos is not always easy with public transport, as not very many buses are used.

Differing cancellation conditions

The guest can cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival. The guest will be charged 90% of the price of the reservation if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival.
