Description
The historic tavern Vachenlueg is situated in a very idyllic and quiet location on the north side of the Steinhögel - surrounded by meadows and woods, in the historic district of Vachenlueg. Numerous hiking and cycling tours await you directly from the house. The Höglwörther See lake is a 30-minute walk away and invites you to swim in summer and go for a walk. The village square in Anger is only a five-minute drive away and offers shopping and gastronomy. Salzburg and Berchtesgaden can be reached in 20-30 minutes by car. And if you want to enjoy the peace and quiet, you can do so in the green garden and have an unforgettable view over the Surtal valley to Salzburg, the Hohen Salzburg Fortress, Maria Plain and all the way to the mountains in the Salzkammergut region when the weather is nice.

Arrival Description
BAB München Salzburg (Tip: Anger has its own temporary exit between kilometre 116.5 and 117, but not signposted - be careful not to be seen), otherwise continue 5 km to the Bad Reichenhall exit, then at the roundabout take the 1st exit in the direction of Bad Reichenhall, after 150 m turn right again onto the state road 2103 to Anger approx. 6 km. At the beginning of the town, continue on the 2103 in the direction of Teisendorf. After approx. 300 m turn right into Vachenlueger Straße. After Vachenlueg 50, turn right after approx. 2.5 km.
