Description

The ibis budget Stuttgart City Nord is located in the Feuerbach business district and close to Killesbergpark. The Maybachstrasse subway station is right on our doorstep. The 1-star superior hotel impresses not only with its location, but also its modern rooms with free WIFI access and a delicious buffet breakfast.

From the A8: At the Leonberg junction, take the A81 toward Heilbronn, Stuttgart-Feuerbach exit, then head toward B295 to Stuttgart-Feuerbach and follow signs for the B295 to Stuttgart/S-Zentrum. The hotel is on the left after approx. 5,6 miles (9 km). From Heilbronn: Take the A81 toward Stuttgart, Stuttgart-Feuerbach exit, then continue as above.

"We booked 2 rooms from 7 to 15 th Feb but because of some reason we left on 11 morning. We informed Hotel reception on 7th that we would be leaving on 11th morning and accordingly wanted to cancel our reservation for 12th to 15th . But we got answer that they couldn’t cancel as it’s done by booking dot com. I’m not happy at all with such one sided policy."

"Location of the hotel is excellent - it is next to a U-bahn stop, connection to the city center or to the station, airport... is fantastic. Room was a bit "minimalistic" (I was missing some place to put my stuff - like clothes) but clean and good for a short stay. Staff at reception was very kind. Breakfast was OK. If you are looking for a good hotel in that area for a short trip (one or two nights) - ibis budget is good choice."

"The bed is small and on top you have one kid bed! It might good for families but if I'm booking as single why I get such a room? TV very small, no extras in room. Shower very small and no adjustable shower head. Breakfast was relatively good. Reception depends on the person (check in was bad, but check out was very friendly and helpful). I have chosen the room because of the near location to my meeting and the evaluation (which seems over rated)."

"I went on a business trip and chose Ibis, but quickly doubted my choice upon arrival. The rooms are not impressive, specially for the price and compared to the competitors, and on top of that I was woken up by room cleaning at 8h in the morning, after a long day of work and before an even longer. The only thing that was adequate was the breakfast. I will not be back if I can avoid."

"I did not have much expectations, so stay overall was ok. Room was clean and I slept well. Breakfast was also ok, even though I'm not sure it was worth the price. Problems encountered: First room I got, the door did not open, so I had to go back to the reception and got another room. Second room, the shower light was broken. I bit more maintenance, or at least checks done by the room service would make sense."

"The air conditioning was very weak and the room was very hot. Twice my access to the room was blocked due to a failure of the staff or their system. I appreciate that they gave me another room when I complained about the air conditioning, but unfortunately it didn't improve. In the middle of the week the days were cooler and it was possible to cool down a bit with the window open, but on days with temperatures above 25 degrees it wasn't pleasant."
