Description

This youth hostel is just a 10-minute walk from Stuttgart Main Station and the Königsstraße shopping mile. Jugendherberge Stuttgart has a terrace with panoramic views of central Stuttgart.
The simply furnished rooms and dormitories at Jugendherberge Stuttgart International all include a sitting area and a private bathroom with shower. Wi-Fi is available in public areas.
Buffets are served for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining room. Laundry facilities are available, and free lockers and a storage room for luggage are provided.
Guests are welcome to play the piano or enjoy a game of pool (billiards) or foosball. There is also a TV room, as well as a common lounge on every floor.
The 24-hour front desk includes a tour desk and ticket service, and on-site parking is free. Stuttgart Youth hostel is 239 m from the Staatsgalerie art gallery and 4 km from the Mercedes-Benz-Museum.

Directions for public transport

With the metro line U15 (direction: Ruhbank (Fernsehturm) / Heumaden - during the day every 10 minutes) to the stop Eugensplatz (Jugendherberge). From there follow the tracks / Haussmannstraße in the direction of travel uphill until the street bends to the right. There you go left an you'll find the hostel's entrance on the left side.

From direction München/Karlsruhe (A8): 
Exit Stuttgart-Degerloch From direction Singen (A81): Turn to A8 at Stuttgarter Kreuz direction München, then take exit Stuttgart-Degerloch. From exit Stuttgart-Degerloch take the B27 in direction Stadtzentrum (about 10 km). At the Olgaeck turn right into Alexanderstraße which automatically turns into Haußmannstraße at Eugensplatz (about 800 m). Behind the crossover Haußmann-/Ecke Gerokstraße you'll find the hostel's entrance on the left side (about 100 m). 
 
From direction Heilbronn (A81): 
Exit Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. Then take the B10 in direction of Stadtzentrum (about 7 km). At the crossover Pragsattel turn to the B27 in direction Stadtzentrum/Tübingen (about 5 km). ATTENTION! Please follow the course of B 27 (to stay in track, you have to turn right in direction Stuttgart Degerloch/Tübingen in the "Theodor-Heuss-Straße")! At the Olgaeck, turn left into Alexanderstraße which automatically turns into Haußmannstraße at Eugensplatz (about 800 m). Behind the crossover Haußmann-/Ecke Gerokstraße you'll find the hostel's entrance on the left side (about 100 m). Please consider that we don't have our own parking-lot. You can find a parking space free of charges in the Haußmannstraße. It is not allowed to park busses in the Haußmannstraße. Next free bus-parking area is: Karlsplatz, Breitscheidstraße, Nordbahnhofstraße or Cannstatter Wasen.

Prices for 2026: Overnight accommodation with breakfast and bed linen included costs from €45.90. There is a surcharge of €15.00 per night for a single room and €7.50 per person per night for a twin room. Children up to 2 years of age stay free of charge. For children between 3 and 11 years of age, bed and breakfast including bed linen costs from £28.90. All prices are per person. The increased and continuing rise in energy costs are forcing us to take action: until further notice, we are charging an energy surcharge of £3 per person/night for stays in 2024. Membership of the DJH or an affiliated association is a prerequisite for overnight stays. Please remember to present your membership card at check-in. Guests aged 27 and over** and families* pay an annual fee of EUR 27.50 for DJH membership (June to the end of November: EUR 13.75) * Families and single parents with children up to the age of 26 (even if they have a different address). ** Married couples and cohabiting couples with the same address. If you are not resident in Germany, you must apply for membership in your country, purchase an international annual membership on site for EUR 18.00 or, alternatively, purchase a day membership for EUR 3.50 per person per night.
You will find parking spaces on Haußmannstraße. Parking here costs approximately EUR 0.20 per 11 minutes or EUR 10.70 for a day ticket. Parking is free between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. and all day on Sundays and public holidays. When entering Stuttgart, please remember that you need an emissions sticker. If you are travelling by public transport, take the U15 from the main station in the direction of ‘Fernsehturm/Ruhbank’ to the Eugensplatz (Jugendherberge) stop. From there (it is best to cross the street right at the stop), walk 3-5 minutes up the hill, where you will find our entrance with the lift tower (staircase) on the left.
