Description

Enjoy your vacation days onour family-friendly farm (grassland farm, own sheep farm) with a family atmosphere. Our time-honored house is very quietly situated in the district Höpfling between Eisenärzt and Siegsdorf/Chiemgau in the valley of the Weißen Traun. For a happy and relaxing vacation we offer: comfortable guest rooms with a rich and varied breakfast buffet, as well as spacious newly designed vacation apartments for a maximum of 6 people. Directly at the house is a toboggan slope, the nearest cross-country skiing trail is about 500 m, and the nearest ski lift is about 1.5 kmentfernt.

Environment description

Unser denkmalgeschützter Hof liegt im idyllischen Ortsteil Höpfling, nur etwa 1,5 km südlich vom Ortskern Siegsdorf entfernt. Entlang der weißen Traun führt ein wunderschöner Spazierweg direkt in die Ortsmitte – ein gemütlicher Fußmarsch von rund 20 Minuten durch die gepflegte Natur des Chiemgaus.

Der klare Gebirgsfluss ist ein wahres Paradies für Fliegenfischer: glasklares Wasser, spiegelnde Traunauen und herrliche Stille prägen diese besondere Landschaft. Auch ohne Auto ist man mobil – entlang der Traun verbinden Bahnlinien die umliegenden Orte. In Höpfling befindet sich sogar eine eigene Bedarfshaltestelle, von der Sie bequem die Umgebung erkunden können.

Mit der Chiemgau-Karte nutzen unsere Gäste Bus und Bahn zwischen Traunstein im Norden und Ruhpolding im Süden kostenfrei – ideal, um die Region entspannt zu entdecken.

Zum Hof gehören grüne Wiesen und sanfte Hänge, auf denen in der Weidezeit unsere Schafe, Ziegen und Ponys (mittlerweile liebenswerte Senioren) grasen. 

About the host

Bereits in der dritten Generation betreiben wir, Johannes und Angelika Döpper, unsere Pension mit bäuerlichem Charakter. Unsere im Nebenerwerb geführte Schafzucht mit weißen Bergschafen trägt durch die Beweidung zur Pflege der voralpinen Kulturlandschaft bei und schenkt uns zugleich wertvolle Erzeugnisse wie Fleisch und Wolle.

Unterstützt bei den vielfältigen anfallenden Arbeiten werden wir von unserem Sohn Josef und seiner Partnerin Simone.

Arrival Description

BAB A 8 Munich direction Salzburg exit Traunstein-Siegsdorf. Approx. 500 m after the freeway exit, leave the traffic circle at the 1st exit in the direction of Ruhpolding. After another 600 m turn right in the direction of Siegsdorf, after the train station Höpfling turn left over the Traun bridge and follow the signs for the last part of the way.
