Owned by the family since 1636. 30 comfortable rooms, solarium, fitness room, 2 skittle alleys, 3 dining rooms: Engelstube, Kilpenstube and Jägerstüble, located at the edge of a forest, lawn for relaxing next to the Kilpenbach river, 2 conference rooms equipped with technology for up to 30 people. Comfortable restaurant for families and company parties up to 140 people. The kitchen and the service have an excellent reputation. Half board à la carte - that means that you can compose your 3-course meal yourself - you will find the current menu on the homepage). Child reductions: up to 3 years old free, 12 and older: 2 EUR for each year.

ÖPNV: Freiburg - Breisgau S-Bahn bis Bleibach, Buslinie 7272 bis Simonswald, Haltestelle Engel. PKW: Von der A5 - Ausfahrt Freiburg Nord - auf der B294 in Richtung Waldkirch. An Waldkirch vorbei bis zur Ausfahrt Gutach-Bleibach - Simonswald auf der L173 nach Simonswald. Das Zentrum von Simonswald erreichen Sie ca. 4 km nach dem Ortsschild. Nach weiteren 4 km erreichen Sie Obersimonswald. das Hotel Engel befindet sich links an der Straße.
