Description
The OX is located in the western green belt of Münster, in the Gievenbeck district.The former officers' mess opposite the former Oxford barracks on Roxeler Straße has been open to guests since autumn 2022. 20 stylish rooms and seven seminar rooms create a cosy atmosphere with modern design and warm hospitality: marble, high ceilings, wood panelling, curved steps, natural tones and wrought-iron railings create a unique ambience.
The OX is around 15 minutes by bike from the city centre. Its location outside the city centre is characterised by tranquillity and nature. Nevertheless, all important places in and around Münster as well as the main railway station and Münster/Osnabrück airport are within easy reach.
By car
From the north and south: A1 to the Münster-Nord exit, B54 towards Münster, after 3 km turn right onto Austermannstraße, follow signs for MS-Gievenbeck, stay on this road until you reach your destination.
From the west: A43 to A1, then continue as from the south
From the east: A2 or A30, then continue on A1 By train: to Münster Hauptbahnhof, then bus route R64, 12, R63, 1 to Gievenbeck Kaserne
