Schönbuch Coachings: Storytelling
Description
Communicate emotionally with employees, stakeholders and customers.
Storytelling is a method of imparting information by using stories. It is used primarily in knowledge management, child and adult education, journalism, psychotherapy, marketing, PR and advertising.
Stories connect our learning channels!
We remember learning content more easily when we combine auditory, visual and haptic information. Stories make this possible.
Stories provide orientation!
Our brain is flooded with information every second. To find our way through this flood, our brain uses certain filters, such as recognition. Existing neural connections enable new information to be quickly evaluated, sorted, memorized and retrieved.
Storytelling is a cultural technique!
Cultural techniques = concepts for overcoming problems in different life situations. A cultural technique includes a tool and a learned skill. Tool for storytelling: your language. Skill in storytelling: developing language (e.g. using suitable but also imaginative adjectives; building suspense, etc.).
