The Hotel Sonnleiten is quietly and idyllically located in Reit im Winkl in the district of Entfelden. The centre is only a few minutes' walk away. The rooms are comfortably and cosily furnished. With the Reit im Winkl Inclusivcard you can enjoy many leisure activities for free or at a reduced price.

Environment description

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

From the motorway A8 Munich - Salzburg, exit Bernau. After the exit, turn left in the direction of Bernau, Grassau, Marquartstein, Unterwössen, Oberwössen, Reit im Winkl. Approx. 400m after the town sign on the right on the slope you will already see our Hotel Sonnleiten.

Der Gastgeber war sehr vertrauenswürdig bezüglich der Bezahlung (Abreisetag) und der Übergabe des Zimmerschlüssels.

Which negative impressions did you have?

Das Hotel hatte von der Buchung über die Touristeninfo von Reit im Winkl überhaupt keine Kenntnis oder überhaupt eine Ahnung davon. Obwohl ich die Buchung ordnungsgemäß getätigt habe über die Touristeninfo, musste ich erstmal meine Buchung beweisen und genauestens erläutern beim Hotel, so als würden sie das erste Mal eine Buchung über die Touristeninfo erhalten. Zudem war der angepriesene Wellnessbereich (Sauna und der Whirlpool) wahrscheinllich schon seit Jahrzehnten nicht mehr geputzt und aktiviert worden. Daher ist der Wellnessbereich des Hotels eine glatte Lüge. Aber der Ort und die Natur von "Reit im Winkl" selbst hat das alles wieder gut gemacht am Ende. Aber dieses Hotel würde ich nie mehr nehmen.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, schöne helle und saubere Zimmer, gutes und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück, alles in allem ☆☆☆☆☆

Die Matratzen sind leider schon sehr durchgelegn wodurch man schlecht schläft und nicht gerade erholt aufwacht.☆
