Our family-run guesthouse is centrally located, directly opposite the spa gardens, in the immediate vicinity of the outdoor swimming pool, the cross-country ski trails and the ski schools. We are the ideal starting point for wonderful hikes and walks, in summer and winter. We have sunny, large holiday flats with mountain views, completely renovated with great attention to detail and comfort, which invite you to relax and spend a few relaxing days in this wonderful area. Our two-room flats have large bedrooms with shower/WC, the three-room flats have two separate bedrooms with shower/WC, almost all additionally with flat screen TV in the bedrooms. All newly renovated flats have modern fitted kitchens with dishwasher, oven and 4-plate ceramic hob, cosy and sunny living/dining rooms, flat-screen TVs, large balconies and much more. Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern.
