Camping SOW 2026

Description

The Swiss Orienteering Week (SOW) 2026 will bring together orienteering enthusiasts from around the world in Morgins for a week of sport, nature, and friendship. To fully enjoy the event, settle in the official campsite, open from July 6 to 21, 2026, in the heart of the village.

The temporary SOW 2026 campsite in Morgins is open from July 6 to 21 and offers three zones:

• Val Joie: pitches for motorhomes (8 x 5 m)
• Bellevue: pitches for vans (6 x 4 m)
• Football field: pitches for tents (4 x 2.5 m)

A detailed site plan will be provided soon.

Facilities and services:

• Existing sanitary facilities complemented by mobile toilets/showers;
• Dishwashing sinks;
• Euro Relais station for water and motorhome waste disposal;
• No individual electrical connection for tents (shared charging point);
• Bring a 30m extension cord or reel for motorhomes and vans;

The Illiez Card is included in your reservation. It gives you access to many benefits with activity providers and facilities during your stay. You will receive the card digitally by email 3 days before arrival.

Conditions/extras

• Campers may park their vehicle on the reserved pitch, without blocking access or emergency routes. An outdoor parking area with a unloading zone (max 20 min) is provided for the strict tent zone.
• No pets allowed in the tent zone.
• Open fires, charcoal barbecues, and fire pits are prohibited. Only gas stoves are allowed, on a stable surface, away from tents and under supervision.
• Waste sorting is mandatory (containers on site).
