Description
The Illerhues holiday flat is in a beautiful location in the Ascheberg-Herbern district. In the small village you will find several restaurants and a supermarket. The picturesque Westerwinkel Castle and the spacious golf course are only 2 kilometres away. The castle park and the neighbouring woodlands are perfect for long walks. Cyclists will find a true paradise in Ascheberg. Not only does the 100 Castles Route run along here, but you also have direct access to the 4,500 km long Münsterland cycle path network. The cycle paths lead in all directions to important sights. Nordkirchen Castle (approx. 11 km) and Vischering Castle in Lüdinghausen (approx. 22 km) are witnesses to great architecture.
Beautiful day trips are possible by car. Münster (approx. 30 km) and Dortmund (approx. 40 km) offer numerous attractions and are always worth a visit.
