Description
Our country inn in historic Obermarsberg has been family-owned since 1878. If you leave the A44 motorway at the Marsberg exit, you will soon see the 1200-year-old village high above the Diemel valley, the Saxon fortress "Eresburg" conquered by Charlemagne and its first church foundation. The Diemel cycle path in the valley as well as the E1 hiking trail and the Sauerland Waldroute lead through our village and invite hikers and cyclists to our cozy restaurant with tiled stove for a freshly tapped Westheimer Pils. Enjoy the view of the Sauerland landscape from our beer garden. In addition, our kitchen will spoil you with freshly prepared specialties from the region. For parties of up to 50 people we recommend our "Tiroler Stube". Bicycles or motorcycles can be parked safely (garage).
