The AHORN Berghotel Friedrichroda awaits its guests in the heart of the Thuringian Forest in the idyllic climatic health resort of Friedrichroda. In addition to 457 rooms in various categories, some with balcony, the hotel also has the largest hotel indoor pool in the region, a heated outdoor pool and a sports & fun park with an original Rummenigge soccer field, mini golf course, beach & basketball court and a spacious one landscaped children's playground.

Culinary delicacies are served in the half-board restaurants and in the AZado Restaurant & Café. The hotel bar "Ludowinger Lounge" and a beer garden with summer terrace are also available to guests. Daily evening entertainment and an extensive animation program ensure that there is no boredom.

Hygiene and distance keeping requirements

All AHORN Hotels & Resorts will of course meet all the requirements for a safe stay, as required by the local authorities. We are obliged to ensure these precautionary measures and we kindly ask you to follow them as well.

We urgently point out that mouth / nose protection must be worn in all public facilities of the hotel, except in the restaurant when eating. If you are exempt from wearing mouth and nose protection by a certificate, we ask that you still wear mouth and nose protection to protect all guests and employees, as otherwise we unfortunately cannot accommodate you in the hotel.

Please understand that some leisure activities such as Cosmetics will not yet be available due to the requirements of the state. Our buffets are also adapted to the requirements. Unfortunately, our younger guests have to forego our YOKI AHORN children's buffet at the moment.

Can be canceled free of charge up to 22 days before arrival. Later cancellations or no-shows without cancellation will be charged with 90% of the total amount. The invoice amount is to be paid upon arrival. Please note that cancellations can only be accepted in writing.

The indicated prices do not include the tourist tax. The customary local tourist tax is mandatory to be paid on site.
