Guided tour through the Historic Town Hall

The current appearance of the Town Hall is characterized by its almost unspoilt renaissance loggia with the outstanding relief work and the reconstructed Ratsturm (Town Hall Tower). In the front parlour, the Hansasaal, dating back to the 14th century, official receptions are still held here today and prominent figures from all over the world are welcomed. As ever, the medieval group of sculptures, the "Nine Good Heroes" dominates the picture, supplemented by the Eight Prophets in the neighbouring Prophetenkammer (Prophets" Chamber) that leads to the Senatssaal.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass Führungen im Rathaus von den aktuellen Belegungen der Säle und eventueller Empfänge durch den Oberbürgermeister abhängen. Eine Zusage ist erst wenige Wochen vor dem Termin möglich, und auch bei erfolgter Anmeldung behält das Rathaus sich vor, bereits zugesagte Termine kurzfristig wieder abzusagen.
