My name is Robert Girvan, and I am a tour guide for the city of Karlsruhe. It is my pleasure and honour to offer a very unique and special tour of Karlsruhe. Whether you wish to experience an English overview of the “Fan City”, or enjoy a relaxing tour of Karlsruhe in German, I am here to provide with these opportunities.

When I was studying history at McMaster University in Canada, I was always fascinated by European history. History in Germanyis a tangible experience. When visiting a German city, one can literally touch the past. Whether strolling through a medieval castle, a charming church, a majestic cathedral or a sumptuous palace, one can personally interact with history first-hand.

When I lived in Canada, I was a schoolteacher. When teaching history, I attempted to share my love of travel, history andlearning with all of my students.Working as a tour guide in Karlsruhe, I endeavour to grant this same sort of wonderfully educational and entertaining experience to all of the visitors and tourists that come to our gorgeous city.
