Description

Our house is in a very quiet location. The surroundings are rural, up here you can hear nature, the wind and no urban noise. In the Upper Black Forest, you can immerse yourself in peace and quiet. The view of the Alps that you have high up here in certain weather conditions is a real experience. Unfortunately, the pictures can't really show this. Strittberg, a small village 3 kilometers south of Höchenschwand, is conveniently located on the south side of the Black Forest. In just a few minutes by car you can be at Schluchsee (picture left), on the Feldberg, in the beautiful old town of Waldshut, on the Swiss border and in an hour you are either in Freiburg, Basel or Zurich! Lake Constance is also just 60 minutes away! The cathedral city of Sankt Blasien is just a stone's throw away. There are many supermarkets, restaurants and cafés in Höchenschwand, in the neighboring village of Häusern and in St. Blasien. We will be happy to advise you when you are there. We look forward to welcoming well-behaved and peaceful dogs. However, dogs must be registered and announced to us in advance. There is a dog fee of 15€ / night for each dog. Please note that large dogs are not allowed in the Mini Suite due to the size of the apartment. If you would like to book the Mini Suite with a dog, you must clarify this with us in advance. Two dogs are not allowed in the Mini Suite. Wellness area: The wellness area is available to all guests free of charge by prior arrangement.

Directions

Höchenschwand liegt im südlichen Schwarzwald in der Nähe des beliebten Schluchsee. Von Westen, Norden und Osten kommend fahren Sie in Richtung Feldberg und biegen in Bärental links zum Schluchsee ab. Fahren Sie dann entlang des Schluchsees nach Häusern und dann nach Höchenschwand. Bleiben Sie bitte auf der B 500 und nehmen Sie erst die zweite Ausfahrt nach Höchenschwand, dort ist Strittberg auch ausgeschildert. Bleiben Sie nun auf der Kreisstrasse nach Strittberg. Die erste Strasse in Strittberg geht rechts ab und ist bezeichnet mit "1-24". Wir haben hier keine Straßennamen sondern nur Hausnummern. Nehmen Sie diese erste Straße rechts. Unser Haus Nr. 7 ist das dritte auf der linken Seite.
