Description
The hotel is located in the Betzenhausen suburb of Freiburg, just west of the famous old town and the historic cathedral on Marktplatz. Hotel guests are just a short walk away from the Seepark, a recreational area with a lake, sunbathing area, and restaurant and beer garden that adjoins the Freiburg student village (StuSie). In the immediate vicinity of the hotel, you can find restaurants, small shops, supermarkets, and several banks and pharmacies. Downtown Freiburg in just 10 minutes away by tram, which also stops at the central train station and the congress center. The new Messe Freiburg is just 5 minutes away by car. The hotel reopened in April 2014 after extensive renovation work and the implementation of a completely new interior design concept. The carefully modernized Bischofslinde offers 26 charming, non-smoking rooms with modern bathrooms. Some of the rooms also have a balcony and view of the park. Guests can see evidence of the interior transformation of this functional building from the 1960s not only in the guest area, halls, and breakfast room, but also at the hotel entrance and reception.
