Description
Hotel Schloss Dürnstein, located in the picturesque Wachau region, is a place of special significance. Built in 1630 as a Renaissance residence, it was turned into one of the country's leading hotels by the Thiery family, who own it. The well-kept, historic ambience, coupled with the magic of a 400-year-old castle and modern service, offers a unique atmosphere. Each room is a world of its own, some with vaulted ceilings, others with fine parquet floors and antique furniture.
The view of the passing Danube and the vineyards stretching to the horizon is breathtaking. Massages, an outdoor and indoor pool as well as a sauna and infrared cabin are available for relaxation.
