Built in the 18th century by August the Strong, as a pledge of love to his mistress, and faithfully restored in 1995, the five-star luxury hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden is a beautiful combination of historic glory and contemporary elegance.

Directly located in the very heart of Dresden's historic centre, the Taschenbergpalais offers 213 rooms including suites and culinary excellenece from restaurant the Palais Bistro, Café Vestibül and the award-winning Karl May Bar. The historic inner courtyard is an oasis of relaxation during summer and turns into a sparkling ice rink in wintertime.

In addition to a pool, spa lounge and fitness centre, the hotel has a total of nine function rooms, including six stylish salons on the Bel Etage, a multifunctional Kurfürstensaal and three other business suites. With passion and long-term experience, we provide a five-star catering service.

Das Hotel ist super, mitten in der Innenstadt, gelegen. Man fährt das Auto in die Tiefgarage und kann das gesamte Zentrum zu Fuß erkunden.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man konnte sich rundherum wohlfühlen.

Im Bad war eine Badewanne vorhanden, jedoch fehlte der Badeschaum. Besonders im Bad konnte man sehen, dass das Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Wie nicht anders zu erwarten war hat das Hotel die Anspürche die man mit dieser Hotelkette verbindet voll erfüllt. Der Standort und die Erreichbarkeit sind perfekt und das Ambiente passt perfekt zum Flair der historischen Altstadt.

Keine, nur als kleine Bemerkung, man beginnt dem Hotel in den Zimmern so langsam das Alter anzumerken........., aber alles ist immer noch auf einem sehr guten Niveau.
