Short Characteristics

Our new property is in a quiet location in the garden city of Radebeul, neighboring Dresden. Located in the desirable Lößnitz heights, it offers comfortable living with several cozy apartments in different sizes for two to six people and is the ideal starting point to get to know both Dresden, and the interesting surrounding area. We are sure both business and tourist travelers will find our facilities to their liking. Features:
Each apartment includes a bathroom with shower, TV, kitchen and a balcony, patio or terrace. An extra bed is optional.

- A private minibus and classic convertible are available for transportation to the "Brummtopf" Visitors should experience the "Brummtopf" inn  (www.Brummtopf-Radebeul.de),  located in the center of Radebeul-Ost.
This "East Side Saloon" sports a country-western atmosphere appropriate for the city that Karl May called home and is known for tasty, moderately priced regional food and beverages, as well as country music and line dancing. It is also worth visiting because of the museum-like decor with many musical instruments and unique, handcrafted furnishing. The "Brummtopf" is only a few minutes away from some well-known Radebeul museums: the Karl May Museum, the narrow gauge railway museum at Radebeul-Ost train station that is the starting station of the historic steam-powered Narrow-gauge railroad to Moritzburg and Radeburg, and the "Zeitreise" museum, with its extensive exhibit on the history of the former GDR. Another small holiday apartment is attached to the "Brummtopf", which is located conveniently close to local tram and "S-Bahn" train stops.

Which negative Impressions did you get?

Um mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in die Stadt Dresden zu kommen ist die Unterkunft wahrscheinlich eher ungeeignet, da die Haltestelle ca. 2 km entfernt liegt.

- bei der Übergabe wurde mitgeteilt, dass keine bestimmte Zeit nötig ist, dass die Räumung zu keiner Bestimmten Zeit notwendig ist -> dann kam der Vermieter, dass eigentlich 10 Uhr üblich ist, in der Mail und im Internet stand aber nichts davon!""

Nur sehr spärliche Anzahl Fotos vorhanden und die sind dazu noch aus verschiedenen Wohnungen. Es ist daher nicht möglich vorab ein Eindruck über eine der Wohnungen zu bekommen. WLAN fehlt dazu ist die Küche kaum mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet (Kein Nudelsieb, Schöpflöffel, Schneidebrett, Abtropfgitter, nur 1 Topf, 1 Geschirrtuch...).

Which positive impressions did you get?

Excellent accommodation, with a very helpful owner, private secure parking available with additional on street parking if needed. The owner is very helpful, and the apartment is spacious and very well maintained. An ideal location for visiting the surrounding area. Highly recommended !!

Which negative Impressions did you get?

Trotz Buchungsbestätigung hatten die Vermieter am Tage unserer Anreise keine Ahnung davon, dass wir kommen würden (obwohl ich noch am Buchungstage tel. Kontakt mit derr Vermieterin aufgenommen hatte...) Somit mußte ein Bett erst noch hervorgeholt und bezogen werden! Die Küchenausstattung war mehr als spärlich - der dafür hergerichtete Raum (Diele) sehr eng.
