Short Characteristics

* The hotel rooms:
Our small hotel stands for cultivated ambience and offers its guests an accommodation with a hight level of sleeping comfort (suitable for allergy sufferers). The rooms are furnished in a modern Zebrano wood decor and modern flat screen TVs and leave nothing to be desired.

* The pension rooms:
Our large holiday apartments in the middle of the historic village green of Altkötzschenbroda offers overnight accommodations for up to 8 persons per apartment. The apartments are furnished individually and the comfortable rooms offer a cosy and relaxing atmosphere for everyone. Being partly equipped with kitchenettes, our pension rooms offer a high level of comfort.

From cyclists to large travel groups, everyone will find rest in our rooms. There are possibilities to do the laundry and to store bikes.

Towels, linen and a final cleaning are included in the price. There are parking spaces in the public traffic area and on the parking area of the "Elbepark". Children up to age 3 are free of charge. We invite you to the large breakfast buffet from 7 a.m to 10 a.m. in our restaurant "Dittrichs".

Anreisebeschreibung

Arrival by car:
* On the motorway A4, please take the exit "Dresden Neustadt" and continue in the direction of Radebeul.
* Follow Kötzschenbrodaer Straße until Radebeul West.
* There Kötzschenbrodaer Straße continues as Herrmann-Illgen-Straße.
* On this street there is a sign saying "Altkötzschenbroda".
* Continue until you reach the bank "Sparkasse" and turn left into Bahnhofsstraße.
* Turn left again and after 200 m you will find us on the left-hand side.

Arrival by train:
* From the main station "Dresden Hauptbahnhof" or the train station "Bahnhof Dresden Neustadt" take the S-Bahn S1 to the train station Radebeul West.
* From there you have to walk along the Bahnhofstraße and pass the bank "Sparkasse". When you reach the end of the street turn left.
* After 200 m you will find us on the left-hand side.

Arrival by tram:
* From Dresden take the tram line 4 to the stop "Moritzburger Straße" in the direction of Radebeul West.
* From there you have to walk along the Bahnhofstraße, and pass the railroad bridge and the bank "Sparkasse". When you reach the end of the street turn left.
* After 200 m you will find us on the left-hand sid.

Gute und große Zimmer mit großem Bad. Frühstück einfach Klasse. Alles was man von einem Hotelfrühstück erwartet. Lachs, Rührei, Käse und Wurstauswahl. Viel Obst und Marmelade, sowie Joghurt.

Das Laminat im Zimmer etwas stumpf, was daher wie staubig aussah.

Lage ist gut, Größe des Appartements ist gut, Essen ist gut.

Which negative Impressions did you get?

Ausstattung der Küche könnte verbessert werden: altes bzw. unvollständiges Geschirr z.B. nur 2 Teelöffel, kein Wasserkocher - von Mikrowelle ganz zu schweigen. Keine Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad, kein Sonnenschutz bzw. Verdunklungsmöglichkeit außer im Schlafzimmer (Whg. heizt sich im Sommer extrem auf) - Ventilator?! Keine Fliegengitter gegen die Stechmücken (besonders unser Sohn wurde stark verstochen) Minibar, überteuert: 3,60 € für ein Bier und 4,75 für 1 l Mineralwasser ungekühlt! Moderater Preis würde deren Nutzung deutlich erhöhen.

Freundliches Ambiente, freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, gut Erreichbar mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Ebenfalls die Anbindung in die Stadt Dresden war super gut! Besser als bei uns im Norden! Preis Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt absolut!

Mitnahme eines "zweiten Frühstücks" wurde nicht gern gesehen. Es gab für eine Personengruppe nur ein Schlüssel. Das zwingt die Hruppe zusammen zu bleiben.

Das Kaminzimmer war sehr groß mit separatem Schlafraum und einer Küche. Leider etwas hellhörig. Sehr freundlich eingerichtet.

Which negative Impressions did you get?

Die Fußbodenheizung im Bad war nicht intakt. Für den Kamin war Holz zum einmaligen anschüren vorhanden. Für nochmalig angefordertes Heizmaterial (brannte nur eine Stunde) mussten wir extra bezahlen. Die Betten wurden leider nicht gemacht.

Wir hatten uns spontan entschlossen in Dresden ein Konzert zu besuchen und benötigten nicht nur eine Unterkunft für eine Nacht, sondern auch Betreuung unserer beiden Kinder (1,3). Die Vermittlung über die Touristeninformation lief reibungslos, die Abstimmung ebenso. Vorort stellt sich alles für uns so dar, wie versprochen. Vom sehr freundlichen Service, über die Unterkunft, bis hin zum leiblichen Wohl blieben keine Wünsche offen. Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön, noch einmal von unserer Seite.
