Around 15:00 you will be back at the stopping point below Albrechtsburg Castle in Meissen.

station Meissen

The station Meißen is located directly at the large visitor parking lot of the city (Hochuferstraße, downstream left) directly below the Albrechtsburg.Even from a distance you will discover the silhouette of the city - it is picturesquely surrounded by hills in the Elbe valley and is dominated by the castle hill. Stroll through the 1000-year-old old town with its town houses, its staircases, portals, narrow streets and historic wine taverns. Among the famous Meissen sights are the Franciscan Church (now a city museum), the Church of Our Lady with the world's first built-in carillon made of Meissen porcelain (1929), the Burgberg with Albrechtsburg Castle and the cathedral.

station Diesbar

The station Diesbar (downstream right) belongs to a small romantic wine village along the Saxon Wine Route. The area around Diesbar is an insider tip for excursionists who like peace and tranquility during their excursions. Wine hills are harmoniously blended with forests and meadows, and the Elbe River flows here in a large arc through the middle of the landscape. They say that spring comes a little earlier, and autumn lasts longer.

station Seußlitz

The Seußlitz station (downstream on the right) is located below Lehmann's Weinstuben and marks the end of the sailing area of the Saxon Steamship Company - and the beginning of the Saxon Wine Route upstream.
The wide Elbe valley invites you to explore and linger: Take a walk through the vineyards or a bike tour on the Elbe Cycle Path. Numerous wine taverns are ready for a stop.
