Night Watchman Tour:
With nightfall, the night watchman's hour strikes. His horn sounds in the maze of narrow alleys, the light of his lantern pierces the darkness. With his halberd, he protects honorable citizens from robbers and rabble, even in the darkest corners.

Meeting point for the Night Watchman Tour: König-Johann-Reiterdenkmal on Theaterplatz
Tour starts: Tuesday to Saturday at 6:00 PM, 8:00 PM, or 9:00 PM (seasonal)
Duration: Approx. 1.5 hours
Route: Theaterplatz with Semperoper, Zwinger Palace, Schlossplatz, Brühlsche Terrasse, Neumarkt with Frauenkirche
Dinner:
The ticket includes a delicious dinner at the Freiberger Schankhaus, a typical Saxon inn located directly on Neumarkt in the Old Town. With its cozy, historic ambiance, its excellent cuisine featuring rich Saxon home-style cooking, and excellent regional beer specialties, it is very popular with locals.
One dish of your choice:
- Saxon Sauerbraten with apple-red cabbage and potato dumplings - typically Saxon!
- Freiberger Beer Goulash with sauerkraut and Bohemian dumplings - a Freiberg specialty, our recommendation!
- Seasoned chicken breast with mushrooms and cheese, served with original Worcestershire sauce!
- Three spinach dumplings with melted butter and shaved Parmesan cheese - a delicious veggie dish!
One drink of your choice:
- 0.3 l beer (our recommendation: Freiberger Edelkeller)
- 0.25 l non-alcoholic beverage
- 0.1 l wine (e.g., Saxon Landwein from Meissen)
Children up to and including 14 years of age eat and drink à la carte. This must be paid for separately in the restaurant.

Tour 6:00 PM - Restaurant seating reserved from 7:30 PM to 8:45 PM

The Night Watchman Tour is suitable for children ages 10 and up.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible.
