Pleasure hiking in Saxon Switzerland (half-day excursion including german tour guide and transfer)
Discover the diversity of one of the world's most beautiful national parks on a relaxed hike through the Bastei area and on the Malerweg. After a leisurely train ride (approx. 20 minutes) to Pirna, the gateway to Saxon Switzerland, we take the hiking bus (approx. 20 minutes) to the Bastei area, the starting point of our hike.
Along the spectacular and bizarre rock formations we enjoy the view over the romantic Elbe Valley and experience the Bastei area with its unique beauty.
A highlight is the gorge hiking trail through the Schwedenlöcher, with wonderful motifs that surprised and inspired the romantics - like the painter Caspar David Friedrich.
After a short rest at the Amsel waterfall, we hike along the Amselsee to the health resort of Rathen. From there it goes back to Dresden after a ferry ride by train.
The harmonious interplay of history, fauna and flora makes this tour a perfect experience for nature and photo lovers.
