“A look behind the scenes” - the Staatstheater DarmstadtThe Staatstheater Darmstadt is a multi-genre theater with opera, dance and drama productions. The guided tour provides exciting insights behind the scenes of this large theater. Here you can see how impressive stage sets and numerous costumes are created in the various workshops, where assembly, painting, tailoring, welding, planning and rehearsals take place. There is hardly any other place where so many professions work together on one product; craftspeople, artists and administrative staff all play their part in a great stage story. Duration: 90 minutes

The maximum group size is 20 people. During regular theater operations, the stage of the Big House can only be visited subject to availability! The Small House is currently closed due to construction work.
