Did you know that Bremen's town hall stands on "delicious foundations" and also shines beneath the colourful hustle and bustle of the city?
The vaulted cellar of the UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to Bremen's Ratskeller, famous for its fine wines and the largest collection of German wines in the world, as up to 150,000 bottles are stored here.

The Ratskeller looks back on over 600 years of history and impresses with its fragrant wooden barrels in a rustic atmosphere. During the tour, you will be transported back in time and learn how wine found its way to Bremen, what makes the Ratskeller so special and why even poets, composers and Kaiser Wilhelm II appreciated it.

After your visit to the Ratskeller, you can dine in the neighbouring restaurant or buy a bottle or two of wine as a souvenir from the wine shop. This way, the atmosphere will stay with you even at home.

At weekends and on public holidays there is a surcharge of € 50.00 per group.
