The landmark attraction on Bremen's historical market square is the town hall, which became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2004 together with the Roland statue that stands before it. Guided tours of the building give an insight into its fascinating history. The Upper Hall and the Golden Chamber are two of the most impressive sights on the tour.

Note
Groups of up to 25 people. Opening times can change at short notice if the town hall is needed for official receptions, council sessions or other events. On weekends, groups of 16 people or more have to pay an additional fee for a security escort to accompany them around the town hall. Backpacks and shopping bags are not permitted on the tour of the town hall for security reasons. They can be left, at your own risk, in the unattended cloakroom in the foyer during the guided tour.
This tour of the old town can also be adapted to the needs of people with reduced mobility at any time.
