Travel along the old waterways of the peat farmers on a whisper-quiet peat barge. 
Immerse yourself in the history of the landscape and its former inhabitants.

The unique round trip on a whisper-quiet peat barge allows you to enjoy Bremen's nature in a very 
special way. Gliding along on the water, you will experience the green side of this city, from the Findorff peat harbour along the Bürgerpark and the city forest to the Bremen Blockland. 

Along the way you can talk to our peat barge skippers about the history of peat barge sailing and the Teufelsmoor.
On the banks, you will see great white egrets and perhaps a kingfisher as well as 
wild ducks with their flock of young amidst pond lilies and marsh marigolds. 
One passenger exclaimed enthusiastically: "It's almost like the Amazon here!"

Longer routes of up to 4 hours are also possible by prior arrangement. The peat barges are barrier-free.
Please arrive at the peat harbour in Findorff approx. 20 minutes before the start of the trip. Please remember to wear weatherproof clothing.
