The Hotel Sonneck is a family-run hotel in the Blindau district (15 minutes' walk to the centre of Reit im Winkl). Surrounded by the magnificent Bavarian and Austrian mountains, you can enjoy your holiday to your heart's content all year round in a cultivated, personal atmosphere and forget the worries of everyday life. In an absolutely quiet and sunny location, our house offers comfortably furnished rooms with shower/WC, colour TV and balcony. Our offer is rounded off by a large sun terrace, a sunbathing lawn, as well as sufficient parking spaces and garages. In our cosy guest rooms we serve you delicacies and delicacies from our home-style cuisine. Our rich breakfast will help you to start the day on a high note.

Environment description

The forest playground, where our little guests can really let off steam, is approx. 500 m away. In summer and winter, Reit im Winkl offers a wealth of interesting leisure activities. Numerous hiking trails, horseback riding, tennis, golf, mini golf, many bike paths, outdoor pool with water slide and only 4 km away are three wonderful bathing lakes. In the cold season, you can join the 60 km of groomed cross-country skiing trails directly at the house. Cleared hiking trails, drag lifts in the immediate vicinity and the 4km long toboggan run leave nothing to be desired. The bus stop to the skiing area Winklmoos-Steinplatte is in front of the house.

Arrival Description

By car to Reit im Winkl: Coming from Munich on the A 8 motorway, take the Grabenstätt exit. From there take the Bundesstraße 305 (German Alpine Road) to Reit im Winkl (27km). The Inntal motorway offers an alternative. Turn off shortly before Rosenheim at the Inntaldreieck and drive to the Oberaudorf exit. From there, take the Austrian federal road 172 to Reit im Winkl. Coming from Salzburg, take the motorway (A 8) to the Inzell-Ruhpolding exit and continue via Ruhpolding to Reit im Winkl. By train to Reit im Winkl: The nearest railway station is in Prien am Chiemsee. From here you have the best bus connections (RVO bus line 9505) to Reit im Winkl. By plane: Munich airport is approx. 140 km and Salzburg airport approx. 70 km from Reit im Winkl.
