Bicycle tour to various UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Augsburg.
Water art has a long history in Augsburg. For more than 600 years, the former imperial city has had separate piping systems for drinking water, motive water and waste water. You can 'experience' these systems by bike. The bike tour of the city begins at Rathausplatz. We visit the monumental fountain, drive along the canals and look from the Red Gate to the city: How was the water channeled into the city and where did it come from? Find out what makes the historic water towers so special and what excellent quality our drinking water is today. The tour ends at the historic waterworks on the Hochablass.
The visit of the historical Water Towers is not included in this tour.
