FR04 -Augsburg’s Path in the Tracks of Martin Luther

This tour allows you to experience the history of the Reformation in Augsburg.  While viewing the Fugger Houses  you will learn about Martin Luther’s visit there, and the reason why Cardinal Cajetan had to  interrogate Luther in Augsburg.  You will visit St. Anne’s church, the center of Augburg’s Reformation history, as well as the Bishop’s Palace in Fronhof near St. Mary’s Cathedral where the Augsburg Confession, “Confessio Augustana” was read in 1530.
