Description

Old mass mill, rebuilt as an inn in 1750. In the romantic Grümpen valley, where gold has recently been panned again. Even that which does not glitter is worth its weight in gold. Unique low mountain range landscape in the Thuringian Forest Nature Park. Hikes along the legendary Rennsteig trail, into the Schwarzatal valley and into the Coburg region are possible. Winter sports fans will find 25 km of cross-country ski trails, a ski lift and a snow tubing facility. Sauna, sunbed and sun terrace available. Let us spoil you with Thuringian delicacies in our farmhouse parlour or in the fireplace room.
