The mighty medieval tower towers above the uniquely beautiful village of Hospental - its new viewing platform is part of the tour - and, together with the baroque Church of the Assumption of Mary, watches over the village and the entire Ursern Valley. The townscape of Hospental is considered the most intact in the canton of Uri and is almost free of building sins from the last century, which is one of the reasons that Hospental was officially named one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland this year. In a guided tour lasting about one and a half hours, the tower keeper of Hospental tells the history and anecdotes surrounding the secret capital of the valley.
Starting from the station, past the Belle Époque Hotel Meyerhof, along the St. Gotthard, into the upper part of the village with the tower and church, along the old Furkaweg back to the station.

All village tours can be adapted to the wishes and expectations of the guests. The tour can also be shortened or extended and even be combined with an aperitif or lunch.

Raiffeisen members benefit from a 25% discount on the tour price upon presentation of the Raiffeisen discount voucher. The voucher must be presented at the meeting point. Only one voucher can be redeemed per guided tour. For cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start of the tour, a handling fee of CHF 40.00 per tour will be charged. For cancellations less than 48 hours before the start of the tour, the total price of the booking will be charged.
Payment policy
The total payment of the reservation is required at the time of booking.
