Description

The stately Altöttinger Hof inn, located directly on Kapellplatz, was built in 1685 and initially inhabited by Jesuits. In the course of secularization in the years 1803 to 1805, the building fell to the state, until it was acquired in 1870 by brewery owner Georg Wasner. The Altöttinger Hof has been family-owned since 1928, when the grandparents Alois and Maria Stechl took over the inn. In their spirit, the owner Mr. Hubert Simmet continues to run the inn today. The own butchery and the excellent kitchen are managed by the head of the house himself and are open from 9.00 to 17.00 o'clock. [From Ash Wednesday to Easter and during the Christmas market from 9.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 22.00]You can experience a stylish atmosphere on winter days with an open fireplace and beautiful hours in the summer offer coffee terrace and beer garden. We are happy to plan excursions to the surrounding area for our guests. A shuttle service to and from the train station is also available.
