During the summer, the area hosts numerous concerts and open-air cinema events in the monastery courtyard. The B500/Schwarzwaldhochstraße is also nearby—a popular route for both hikers and motorcyclists. A parking space is available on the property and free parking is available on the street. Pets and smoking are not allowed. This property has guidelines to help guests with the correct separation of waste. More information is provided on site. This property has light and water-saving features. The electricity at this property is partly generated by photovoltaic panels. Sustainable materials have been used in the insulation at this property. This property features a convenient self check-in system. Take the motorway A5 to Rastatt exit, national road B 462 to Freudenstadt, B 294 in direction of Freiburg to Alpirsbach.
From Stuttgart or Lake of Konstanz:
Motorway A81 to Oberndorf exit, then follow signs.
From Basel/Freiburg:
Motorway A5 to Freiburg-Nord exit, national road B 294 in direction of Freudenstadt to Alpirsbach.
From Strassburg/Offenburg:
National road B33 in direction of Villingen-Schwenningen to Hausach, from there B294 in direction of Freudenstadt to Alpirsbach.
From Freudenstadt:
At the 2nd level crossing turn right.
From Hausach:
At the 2nd level crossing turn left.
Folllow road, turn right at the next road after the ‘Cafe am Kloster´ (Burghaldenstrasse), turn left at first possible road (Oberer Burghaldenweg), the first entrance to the right (slope) will lead you to our house. Our address is ‘Am Höheneck 1´, but access is from the ‘Oberer Burghaldenweg´.
